About Dr. Bob

Dr. Robert Corish is Board Certified in Anesthesiology, he is also B.C in Pain Management and B.E in Clinical Metal Toxicology. He remains active in all three specialties. Born in Liverpool, England, Dr. Corish began his career in the Sports world as a professional soccer player for Derby County of the English Premier league, before joining the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in 1978. A knee injury forced an end to his soccer days and Dr. Corish went on to obtain a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and earn his Medical Doctorate degree at the University of Miami in Florida. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial hospital and continued his training as an Anesthesiologist at Rush St. Luke’s Presbyterian Medical Center in Chicago Illinois.

Whilst in private practice Dr. Corish experienced a sudden onset of joint pains, these naturally lead to a battery of medical tests which all proved negative for a diagnosis. However, Dr. Corish pursued more tests in search for an answer, which resulted in the discovery of his Heavy metal Toxicity. This revelation of metal toxicity sparked a whole new interest and passion for the Doctor who continued to study in the field of Clinical Metal Toxicology and Integrative Natural Medicine.

He now writes and lectures to other Physicians around the country and on the International circuit. He is a founding board member of the American Society of Integrative medical practice, a medical society that teaches and trains doctors in the disciplines of preventative medicine. Dr. Corish states that it is time for the ‘Old School’ of mainstream medicine to update its curriculum and enter the ‘Newstream’ of preventative medicine. Currently Doctors are so overwhelmed and stretched by practicing “Sickcare” instead of “Healthcare” that eventually our medical system will collapse. Teaching the doctors and the public to become proactive about their health care will have a tremendous impact on our future.
